Student life in Puolanka is both hassle-free and entertaining. There are affordable student apartments right in the center of Puolanka, where you can find many things to do. The local movie theater shows the latest movies, the Honka-Areena and the cross-country skiing center are top spots for winter sports, and the Community Center aka Multipurpose Hall is full of events.
High school students are offered a nice range of different benefits. As a student, you get, among other things, a season ticket for a gym and free driving school lessons for the B-class driving license. In addition, you can participate in free courses at Puolanka Adult Education Center. Courses are offered for free in a wide variety of subjects, ranging from arts and crafts to music and sports.
You will be helped and advised in all matters related to studies and housing.

As a student, you pay only €100/month for a room in a shared apartment and only €200/month for a one-bedroom or two -bedroom apartment!
For young people on young people's terms
Puolanka Municipality Youth Services organizes many activities throughout the year. The program includes, for example, various events, camps and trips. The center is the Community Center aka Multipurpose Hall, where you are allowed to take it easy!
